Shipping policy
Where we deliver
We deliver to the countries you can select at checkout. Shipping options, prices and estimated delivery times are shown for your country before you pay, so you always see the cost before you confirm the order.
Some markets have a free shipping threshold. Where one applies, it is shown in the cart and at checkout.
When we dispatch
We dispatch orders within 1–3 business days of receiving them, and we aim to dispatch orders placed before 12:00 on a business day the same day.
Dispatch can take longer during sales and campaigns, around public holidays, at times of high order volume, and when one or more items ship from a remote warehouse.
Delivery times
Delivery time is counted from dispatch, not from when you place the order, and depends on the destination country and the service you choose. The estimate shown at checkout is the one that applies to your order.
Delivery estimates are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other circumstances outside our control, but we will always help you chase a delayed parcel.
Carriers
Your order is sent with the carrier you select at checkout. We reserve the right to use a different carrier where that gives a better delivery of your goods.
Large, heavy or bulky items — for example 20 and 25 litre containers — may ship by freight instead, at a different price. Where that applies, it is stated at checkout before you pay. Freight deliveries are made to your home or business address and may be left at the address even if you are not there.
Tracking
A tracking number is issued when your order is registered with the carrier. Tracking only starts showing movement once the parcel has been packed and handed over, so there may be a delay before the first scan appears.
You may receive more than one tracking number for a single order. That happens when an order does not fit in one parcel, or ships from more than one warehouse.
If you have not received a tracking number within 24 hours of placing an order, contact our customer service and we will sort it out.
Home and business delivery
If you choose delivery to your home or business address, someone needs to be there to receive the parcel during the carrier's delivery window. Most carriers let you authorise them to leave the parcel at the door — you arrange that directly with the carrier.
If nobody is there and no authorisation is in place, the parcel is normally delivered to the nearest parcel shop. If that is not possible, it is returned to us.
Parcel shop delivery
You receive a message from the carrier when your parcel is ready for collection. Please keep an eye on the tracking as well — we cannot be held responsible if the carrier's message does not reach you.
Parcels that are not collected within the carrier's deadline are returned to us and treated as a withdrawal from the purchase. See our Returns and Refunds policy for what happens to your refund.
Restrictions on chemical products
Some of our products are classified as dangerous goods for transport. That can limit how they are shipped and, in a few cases, where they can be shipped. Where a restriction applies to something in your cart, you will see it at checkout.
Damage and missing items
Check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged in transit or missing, contact us at info@auto-glanz.eu as soon as possible and within seven days of delivery, with photos of the packaging and the goods. That lets us claim against the carrier and get a replacement to you quickly.
